Product Manager resume keywords and bullet examples
Product manager resumes are read for judgment: what you chose to build, why, and what happened after launch. Recruiters also search for the vocabulary of the job, such as roadmap, user research, prioritization and A/B testing. Use those words where they describe real work.

Sample product manager resume summary
Product manager with 5 years in B2B SaaS. Led the onboarding redesign that lifted activation from 31% to 44%, and own a roadmap shared by two engineering teams.
Mistakes that get product manager resumes skipped
- Listing launches without saying what they changed.
- Taking credit for the whole team's work. Say what you decided and what you led.
- Buzzwords with no numbers, such as “data-driven product leader”. Show the data instead.
- Two columns, tables or icons. Applicant tracking software can read them out of order, so keep one column and standard headings.
Questions
How do I write a product manager resume with no PM title?
Show product work you've already done: running user research, writing requirements, prioritizing a backlog, launching something. Name your real title, and describe the product decisions in your bullets.
Should a product manager resume be one page?
One page works for up to about 8 years of experience. After that, two pages is fine if the second page is as strong as the first.
