A resume bullet is not a job description. The line that says what you were responsible for tells a recruiter what your title already told them; the line that says what changed because you were there is the one that earns an interview. This tool takes the plain sentence and rewrites it into four versions that lead with a verb and land on a result.
Writing a bullet that survives a six-second scan
Find the number even when nobody measured you
Most people say they have no metrics because nothing was formally tracked. You still know roughly how many tickets a week, how many people were on the team, how long the old process took. An honest approximation - "about 40 a week", "a team of six" - is far stronger than no number, and it is not a claim you cannot defend.
Cut "Responsible for" and start with the verb
Responsible for managing becomes Managed. Tasked with becomes Ran. Worked on becomes Built, Fixed, Shipped, or Migrated - whichever is actually true. You lose three words of throat-clearing and the bullet starts on the thing you did.
One bullet, one result
A bullet that carries three achievements gets read as none, because the eye stops at the first comma. Split it. Four sharp bullets under a role beat two crowded ones, and the ATS parses short lines more reliably anyway.
Delete the bullets about attending things
Attended standups, participated in planning, collaborated with stakeholders - every candidate did those. If a bullet describes something that was true of everyone with your title, it is taking space from one that is not.
